We are making the list and checking it twice, still having confirmations to come, as not every act is finalized . Stay tuned to this website, as well as www.1footparty.com for the latest updates. Some bands are on tour and may be open that day or not, as they are waiting on feedback from promoters and clubs.
Here are the confirmed feature bands. As always the focus is on fun and variety. The Chestermere Water festival is an all ages, all walks of life, festival and the musical entertainment will reflect that as well. Similar to 2009’s event, bands will be playing 45 - 55 minute sets with great single acts featuring singer/songwriters to entertain everyone while we set up the next band.
Since the focus is on variety think of it as a musical “pot luck”, you will get a chance to see and hear some groups you would not have normally have sought out. All the bands and performers are professionals, and everyone is sure to enjoy themselves. Times for each group will be published once the final lineup is secured.

1 Foot Party The host band, the roadies, the booking agents, the everything else that needs to be done guys - with their finger firmly on the nostalgia button, 1 Foot plays lots of great popular songs and it's never the same show twice. Blues, rock, jazz, country, if it was played a few million times on the radio in the past 40 years they probably know it and may just play it!!

Nique Bruce has been playing around Calgary since she was 5 years old. Yes at 5 she was busking at Eau Claire Market and even had a TV show made about her. She’s all grown up now, and her talent is in full bloom, with more stage experience than people twice her age. With a nod to the unplugged artists of the 80s and 90s, Nique’s acoustic pop/folk/rock mix is one of a kind, a talent as unique and slightly reminiscent of that Fort McLeod girl Joni Mitchell!
